Purpose
The purpose of the Medical Center Facilitating Fund (MCFF) is to foster the creation of new research projects and scholarly activities. The OVPR will support studies that exhibit strong potential for growth on campus i.e., ones that will lead to publishable results and/or future extramural funding. This program is for innovative research and scholarship.

Eligibility 
Faculty eligible foe the MCFF include: all active status Medical Center faculty who are continuing in service at the Medical Center the following academic year. Faculty on the University side may participate, but not serve as the PI. 

Deadlines
Deadlines for the 2012-13 competition are still to be determined. Letters of intent (LOI) are due typically in mid-April and full proposals are due to Cayuse in mid-May.
