Undergraduate Research Fellowship
Purpose
This initiative is aimed at promoting discovery and inquiry-based education during the undergraduate experience at GW. The Undergraduate Research Fellowship offers support for undergraduate student-initiated research carried out in collaboration with, and under the guidance of, at least one faculty mentor.
Eligibility
Student applicants must currently be freshmen, sophomores or juniors, have a minimum GPA of 3.4, a declared major, and no judicial or disciplinary findings against them.
Please Note:
- Students may not concurrently hold a Rice or Gamow award during the tenure of the Undergraduate Research Fellowship.
- Faculty mentors must be GW faculty (full-time, part-time, or adjunct).
Deadline
Deadlines for the 2012-13 competition are still to be determined. The applications are typically due to research@gwu.edu in late-April.
