University Facilitating Fund

Purpose
The purpose of the University Facilitating Fund (UFF) is to provide seed funding for GWU's community for the research and scholarly activity. In disciplines where external funding is available, (e.g., science and engineering) potential for attaining funding will be weighted heavily. In disciplines where external funding sources are limited (e.g., arts and humanities), the scholarly merits of the program or project will be weighted heavily.

Eligibility
Faculty eligible for the UFF include: all active-status University faculty who are continuing service at the University the following academic year. Faculty in the School of Medicine and Health Science, School of Nursing and the School of Public Health and Health Services may participate, but not serve as the PI.

Deadlines
Deadlines for the upcoming competition are still to be determined. Letters of intent (LOI) are due typically in mid-December and full proposals are due to Cayuse in late-January.

Please email askovpr@gwu.edu with any questions and include the words 'UFF' in the e-mail's subject line.
