RCR @ GW and Beyond Course

Course Description

This seminar course is designed to develop and strengthen ethical problem-solving skills as well as to foster sensitivity to ethical issues in the conduct of research. By examining ethical dilemmas in research, students can explore consequences of ethical decision-making, practice problem-solving strategies, and acquire the ability to respond appropriately to observed wrongdoing. In this weekly seminar course, key topics in the responsible conduct of research will be reviewed. Students will engage by participating in discussions and active learning mechanisms facilitated by active researchers and administrators at the University.

 

Registration

Registration is open to the entire campus community: undergraduates, graduate students, post docs, researchers, staff and research administrators. There is a maximum of 20 seats, first come, first served. Classes will be held on Thursdays, 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted.
