Sponsored Projects Handbook
For business purposes, GW defines a Sponsored Project as specific research, training, service, or similar activity for which funding is provided by an external sponsor under an agreement with the University. To assist faculty in pursuing research opportunities, OVPR provides support to faculty in submitting proposals for sponsor funding. Proposals meeting any of the criteria are treated as a Sponsored Research Project and must be reviewed and endorsed by the applicable School and OVPR before submission to a sponsor.
This Sponsored Projects Handbook is a dynamic document designed to provide high-level guidance for sponsored projects administration. This is not intended to be a step-by-step procedures manual.
